Jury selection is set to begin in the trial against Sam Bankman-Fried, the man known as the “crypto king,” who is accused of looting his FTX cryptocurrency exchange and cheating investors out of an estimated $8 billion to support his hedge fund, buy real estate and make millions in political donations.
