While many are scrambling to cut back their expenses amid the rising cost-of-living, Avi Efrat has decided to significantly increase his.
He has given all his 45 workers a 20 per cent pay rise and has introduced a new incentive scheme, offering them the chance to earn regular cash bonuses.
The 41-year-old, who owns and runs a picture framing business, said he felt he was in a position to help his workers compete with rising financial pressure by working "smarter".
