The search continues for a woman who entered a Queensland nail salon and snatched a customer's bag.

The 56-year-old client was getting her nails done at the Underwood Shopping Centre on Thursday night when her bag was pulled from beneath her.

Video of the incident shows a staff member attempting to grab the bag back before the thief runs out of the store.

Five staff members chase after the woman, who is seen wearing a blue hoodie and dark-coloured pants.

It is believed the woman left the scene in a waiting car.
