A man has been rushed to hospital after he was shot in the leg in Sydney's south this morning.

Emergency services found the injured man with a gunshot wound after they were called to a local shopping centre carpark in Sans Souci about 5.45am.

The 22-year-old man was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established by police as they continue to investigate the incident.
