Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney is under fire, accused of selling out to one of Australia's biggest stars.
The hospital shut down maternity ward 2C so Russell Crowe can film his mixed martial arts Netflix drama The Beast In Me.
Hospital operator Healthscope said that because of lower birth numbers it was able to consolidate the maternity beds into another maternity ward and filming will see a film crew onsite for a day.

They also said there is no impact to patient care.
The space has been used for filming before.
Staff claim they have been asked to prepare props, hospital gowns, IV fluid and coffee.
