Shirtless Aussie questioned over alleged cafe rampage in Vietnam

An Australian tourist is being questioned by Vietnamese police after allegedly going on a rampage in a busy cafe.

He's accused of causing thousands of dollars of damage in the city of Da Nang before being marched away by police in his underwear.

Footage from the early-morning spree appears to show the Australian man get up from his chair and smash a phone another customer was using to help translate for him.

Staff say he proclaimed "you have ten seconds to leave".

In the video, a man appears to use a chair as a battering ram taking aim at the front counter and the coffee machine before the front windows.

He rifles through the bags of customers who'd made a quick exit, turning a laptop into two frisbees.

A group watched in horror from the second floor as the man headed for them next.

He kicked the door open before putting one man in a headlock.

Police officers begin to assemble outside before rushing in and arresting him.
