Beer kegs strewn across highway after Logan crash

Several kegs of beer were the only victims of a multi-truck crash this morning that caused heavy delays in Logan, south of Brisbane.

The truck crashed on the Logan Motorway, eastbound at Heathwood, blocking several lanes of traffic and significantly delaying commuters this morning.

Smashed kegs that were being transported flew across the road, coating the road in beer.

The eastbound right lane has since been reopened, with traffic easing.

It's the second crash to delay commuters this morning with another collision closing lanes on the Bruce Highway at Morayfield.

Beer spilled following crash on Logan motorway.

Police confirmed two trucks had collided.

Motorists were urged to use a detour while emergency services tended to the crash.
