Pregnant woman taken to hospital after Sydney street brawl

A pregnant woman has been taken to hospital after a brawl on a street in Sydney's west.

Police were told a 23-year-old pregnant woman was pushed during the incident close to Punchbowl train station about 1.30pm today.

Video filmed from inside a nearby shop showed the group of people exchanging shoves and blows, with the brawl spilling onto the road itself.

Police are investigating this brawl in Punchbowl.

The pregnant woman was taken to hospital for observation.

A 38-year-old man suffered a minor injury to his face, and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Officers from the Police Transport Command South west have begun an investigation into the brawl.

The brawl spilled out onto the road itself.
