'Will love forever': Widow's tribute to husband killed in Brisbane crash

The wife of a man who died in a crash in Brisbane's east has paid tribute to her husband who she "will love … forever".

Michael Warburton, a 59-year-old motorcyclist from Hemmant, died in hospital on Monday after a crash involving an allegedly stolen car.

The Penrith Panthers fan and father-of-three was hit as he rode his moped home from the gym.

Anita Warburton, the wife of Michael Warburton, who died in a crash in Brisbane's east has revealed she "will love" her late husband "forever".

Anita Warburton said the family was still coming to terms with the loss.

"I don't know whether we've really had a chance for our feet to touch the ground yet," she said.

"I will love him forever."

The couple was married for 33 years and shared three kids, who were the centre of Mr Warburton's world.

"He was just always there, no matter what," Mrs Warburton said.

"He would make time for his kids, no matter what."

His community has created a makeshift memorial at the bus stop near the crash site.

Michael Warburton, the 59-year-old motorcyclist from Hemmant in Brisbane, was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but later died.

It's filled with photos of the beloved dad as well as flags and bunting for his NRL team ahead of their grand final game on Sunday.

"I said to him, well mate, you've got the best seat now," Michael's father Graham Warburton said

"You'll be right, we know you'll be there."

Two teenage boys and two teenage girls have been charged over the incident.
