Protester banned from Parliament House after sticking hand to artwork

A protester has been banned from Parliament House for 12 months by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) after she glued her hand to an exhibition piece in Canberra.

The protester stuck her hand to part of the suffrage exhibition at around 11am on Friday and was escorted out of the building by AFP officers.

Organisers say it's the launch of a new campaign, which demands the government stop giving subsidies to the fossil fuel industry.
