A group of Queensland fishermen have come face-to-face with one of the biggest predatory sharks in the ocean.
The men were cruising through the waters off the coast of southeast Queensland this morning when the great white shark approached.
They had been using a fish on a line as bait, which appeared to pique the shark's interest.

The shark popped its head out of the water, brushing against the boat before deciding there was nothing of appeal there.
It promptly swam off.
