The family of a young boy killed in a tragic house fire have returned to the wreckage, as the community pays tribute to the young student.
Six-year-old Max Chirila had been in his bedroom when a fire broke out in his Brisbane home, trapping him inside and forcing his mother, father and brother to flee the burning building.
Fire fighters found him dead in his bedroom in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The grieving family, breaking down as they approached their burnt home, told 9News they feel their entire world has collapsed in seconds.
Paul Chirila also visited the site where his grandson was killed.
"Very bad, very bad," he said.
"No can recover the boy… the house… but the boy."
Outside the house, tributes have been laid to commemorate the child, who is being remembered as a bright young student.
A hat with a note "I hope you sleep well in heaven" is among one of many tributes left from the mourning community.
Another note from one of the boy's friends reads "thank you for playing with me".
The six-year-old was due to start Term Two at Ascot State School in Brisbane today. Instead, classmates have left flowers and a school hat outside the Clayfield house where he lost his life.
Thousands of dollars have been raised to support the family following their loss.
Max's mother, Karen, thanked the community for all their support.
He was two weeks shy of his seventh birthday.

Initial investigations show the fire was possibly started due to an electrical fault at the back of the house, near the child's bedroom.
Emergency services were called to the property around 4am yesterday morning.
There, fire crews were met with an intense wall of flame that made entry impossible.
"The crews were met by a lot of smoke and a lot of heat, it was very difficult to make entry through the front door but they eventually made entry through there," Superintendent Paul Durston from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said.
The heat was so intense windows shattered, causing explosions to ring out across the street.
Local Jenn Davidson said the scenes witnessed yesterday will live with her forever.
"The realisation she couldn't go back into the home to save him is something I will never ever forget," Jenn Davidson told 9News.
"Devastating – an awful thing to witness.
"We as a community are just in shock. It's a heart breaking experience for all involved."
Fire investigators will return to the property today to try and determine what caused the blaze.
