A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Melbourne's north-east this afternoon.

Police say three men were injured during an altercation at an address on Duff Parade in Viewbank at 2.45pm.

One man was taken to hospital in a stable condition after receiving a stab wound to the upper body.

A second man sustained minor injuries from a broken window.

A third man was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital in a stable condition with a wound to his upper body.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, however believe all parties are known to each other.

Two men have been arrested after taking police on an extraordinary pursuit through North Adelaide on Sunday.

In a car stolen the previous night from Royal Park, a 29-year-old male driver and his 26-year-old passenger tore through multiple intersections, collided with several civilians as well as a police car before speeding through the middle of a live cricket match.

Cricket player Kuldeep Dhungana was on the field at the time.

"The car was coming straight to us but luckily the driver changed the direction," he said.

"It could have easily been a lot worse because the speed that car was going was really huge, even a small collision could be life-threatening."

SA Police said "thankfully" no one was injured.

The chaos begun at about 3.20pm when the owner of the stolen red Holden Commodore saw their vehicle being driven in the Largs Bay area.

Police said the owner attempted to confront the thieves but was threatened by a man holding an axe before the duo fled in the vehicle.

Upon alert, patrols spotted the car on Port Road and then again heading south on Main North Road, Gepps Cross at about 3.45pm.

A chase was initiated through the back streets of North Adelaide.

A short time later, the Commodore smashed through a busy intersection on the corner of Childers Street, where it hit two cars before continuing on it's rampage.

Next, the stolen vehicle hit a police car on the corner of Barton Terrace West.

Police then stopped the pursuit and watched as the car ploughed through a cricket game in parklands off Jeffcott Street.

Forcing it's way past stationary cars at a set of traffic lights on Jeffcott Street and Park Terrace, the red car collided again with two more cars before forcing another driver to take evasive action to avoid a serious crash.

Moments later, the pair abandoned the battered car at Park Terrace in Bowden attempting an escape.

Police said the the Holden was also involved in two petrol thefts at Largs Bay and Wingfield earlier on in the day.

The driver from Parkside and the passenger from Para Hills West were arrested and set to face Adelaide Magistrates court today.

The Parkside man was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated drive dangerously to escape police pursuit, drive disqualified, drive under the influence, aggravated assault and acts likely to cause harm.

The Para Hills West man was charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and carry offensive weapon.

A popular protein bar has been recalled after it was discovered to contain the wrong product, leaving those with allergies at risk.

The product, Inc's Shred Max in Raspberry Coconut Flavour, 60g, available at Chemist Warehouse stores around the country has been recalled after it was found the bar instead contained the brand's Shred Max Peanut Caramel Flavour.

The mishap puts those with peanut allergies at considerable risk of an allergic reaction from consuming the product, which does not have peanuts declared on the label.

"The recall is due to incorrect packaging which has resulted in the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut)," the NSW Government Food Authority said.

"The product packaging is for INC Shred Max Raspberry Coconut Flavour however the product inside is INC Shred Max Peanut Caramel Flavour."

People with peanut allergies are advised not to consume the protein bar.

Those who have purchased the product can return it for a full refund.
