A pub in regional New South Wales has been closed down by the police for allegedly breaching COVID-19 health orders by allowing unvaccinated patrons in.

NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said the Caledonian Hotel in Singleton would be closed until Tuesday after allegations of repeated breaches of public health orders.

Police have had multiple interactions with the 57-year-old licensee who allegedly refused to take steps to prevent unvaccinated people entering.

Only fully vaccinated people are allowed to enjoy greater freedoms like attending restaurants or pubs when the state started opening up last week.

"Police have attended the venue numerous times in the past week and issued the licensee three PINs and staff members three PINs for breaching the public health orders," Mr Fuller said.

The pub has gained notoriety for its owner's stance on vaccination.

Signs have been hung stating: "Jab or no jab – all welcome at the Cali. Free Australia."

Rescue attempts are continuing to free a whale entangled in shark nets off Whale Beach in Sydney's northern suburbs.

A concerned woman on the shore called police about 2.55pm today after noticing a kayaker trying to help the marine mammal which is about 800 metres from the beach.

The juvenile humpback is anchored to the seafloor by the netting and has fatigued trying to break itself free.

Water Police, Surf Life Saving New South Wales, ORRCA and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) teams are working to remove the netting.

Two other whales can be seen nearby.

"ORRCA members and NPWS are assessing the situation," licensed volunteer rescue group ORRCA said.

Police have asked members of the public to contact them if they have had interactions with a Queensland woman who allegedly issued fake COVID-19 medical exemptions.

Gold Coast police searched a property on Robert Street, Labrador this week and arrested 45-year-old Maria Power, charging her with five counts of impersonating a medical doctor.

Ms Power was charged under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law.

She allegedly told police she had issued more than 600 false medical exemption certificates in relation to COVID-19.

Police will allege the woman engaged with people across the country, primarily via initial online video consultations.

Following the arrest, police said they received several calls from members of the public who believe they may have had interactions with the woman.

Queensland Police said in many instances, people would not have known the woman was allegedly acting illegally.

"Police would like to speak with any person who believes they may have spoken to this woman via phone, video conference or in person," police said in a statement.

Eleven students drowned and 10 others were rescued during a school outing for a river cleanup in Indonesia’s West Java Province, officials said Saturday.

Local officials said 150 students from an Islamic junior high school were participating in the cleanup Friday along the banks of the Cileueur river bank when 21 of them slipped into the water.

“The weather was good and there was no flash flood," said Deden Ridwansyah, chief of the Bandung Search and Rescue Office.

“Those children who drowned were holding each others’ hands. One of them slipped and the others followed,” Mr Ridwansyah said.

Nearby residents and a rescue team managed to save 10 of the students, who were sent to a nearby hospital.

Rescuers used big orange inflatable rafts to search for victims and all students were accounted for when the search ended Friday night.

The students apparently were not wearing flotation devices. Some reports said they were trying to cross the river, which is popular for rafting and inner tubing, when they fell in.

Rains cause frequent landslides and flash floods in Indonesia, where millions of people live in mountainous areas or near flood plains.

In February 2020, a flash flood killed at least six students who drowned in a river in Sleman district of Yogyakarta province.

Two luxury cars collided in the inner west of Sydney this morning.

A 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo sedan worth $370,000 and a 2019 Porsche Macan SUV worth $120,000 crashed on Rowntree Street, Birchgrove around 11.45am.

Paramedics treated one woman for minor injuries at the scene.

Airbags in the vehicles were released on impact.

Both cars were towed from the scene.

A search is underway for a four-year-old girl who went missing from a Western Australian campsite early this morning.

Police are urgently searching for Cleo Smith, who was last seen at 1.30am at the Blowholes campsite in Macleod.

The girl was last seen wearing a pink/purple one-piece sleepsuit with a blue and yellow pattern.
