The Western Australian government doesn't want another cargo ship carrying potentially sick crew to dock in the state but may not be able to stop it.

Crew members the Indonesian ship Darya Krisha, which is currently off Kalbarri and due to anchor in Fremantle as early as tomorrow, are unwell with COVID-like symptoms.

Four of the 20 people on board are sick but testing has not been done.

It's suspected this is the fourth ship to sail to WA from Indonesia with positive cases.

West Australian Premier Mark McGowan wants to turn the vessel around but that is a call that must be made by the Federal Government.

"Our preference with these sorts of things is that the ship leaves as soon as possible to reduce the risk and set the right example because we don't want the ships coming with infected crew members," he said today.

"Obviously, that's not entirely within our control because there are Commonwealth authorities involved here, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority's involved in these things and they're generally of the view the ship should come in."

Genomic sequencing has just confirmed another ship berthed at Fremantle is carrying the highly contagious Delta variant.

Last week the BBC California docked off Perth and at least 10 of its 14 crew members tested positive for coronavirus.

Queensland Health has released a long list of potential coronavirus exposure sites across Brisbane and the Gold Coast after an infectious man travelled north from Sydney.

An infected person visited a childcare centre in Parkwood on the Gold Coast over 10 days, as well as barber shops, restaurants and an adult store.

The alert came after a man, who was identified as a close workplace contact in Sydney, flew while he was supposed to be in isolation and spent more than a week infectious in Brisbane.

He was wrongly told he had tested negative before he travelled but had been told to quarantine for 14 days regardless of his test result. By the time he was told he was positive he was in Queensland.

It was unclear if the sites were all linked to the one person or whether others had been infected.

Anyone who visited the following venues at the listed times is considered a close contact and must get tested, fill out the online contact tracing form and quarantine until given the all clear by Queensland Health. They must remain in quarantine even after a negative test result.

Another 90,000 doses a week of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are headed to New South Wales but the Prime Minister insists he will not reallocate other states' jabs, saying it would undermine the national vaccine strategy.

But the PM pushed back against the idea of forcefully relocating other states' jabs to NSW, saying it would "undermine" the national rollout.

"No state or territory is immune from this Delta strain of the virus, and we could have exactly the same situation presenting in Perth by the end of, by the end of tomorrow, or we could have it in Brisbane or Far North Queensland," he told The Sunday Project. 

"And the vaccination program needs to work right across the whole country."

He also denied the federation was "crumbling" as other states refused to sacrifice their own jabs for NSW, saying the request wasn't put to national cabinet on Friday.

"This isn't about state parochialism. It's got nothing to do with it," he said. 

"It's got everything to do with applying the vaccines across the country, and as well as in south western Sydney."

A flood of 60 million Pfizer doses has been secured for next year, with another 25 million for the following year.

But they will do little to address the critical shortage that has hamstrung Australia's national vaccine rollout, pushing it two months behind schedule.

A comedian who went viral for "predicting" the coronavirus case numbers in NSW has been fined after attending Sydney's anti-lockdown protests.

Jon-Bernard Kairouz, 24, was handed the $1000 ticket at his home in Belmore today after going to the city for the rally yesterday.

He is among dozens who have been fined over the illegal gathering.

Mr Kairouz gained notoriety last week with a series of videos where he accurately predicted how many cases NSW Health would announce before the official numbers were released.

Yesterday he was filmed at the protest declaring himself "the people's premier".

Today, 22 men charged with various offences relating to the protest faced court, with NSW Police saying there will be many more penalties to come.
