Missing man's body found in ute submerged under raging flood waters
Police have retrieved the body of 38-year-old missing man David Hornman after his ute was found submerged in a flooded Gold Coast Hinterland creek.
Swift water rescue crews and divers were able to locate the body just before 4.30pm today – four hours after the upturned ute was found in the Canungra Creek.
Police believe the identity of the body is Mr Hornman, following earlier confirmation the ute belongs to him.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and police are now attempting to retieve the vehicle and the body inside.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
Mr Hornman was last seen leaving a home in white 2013 Isuzu D-Max on Lamington National Park Road around 6am on Monday, and hasn't contacted family since.

Porter, Reynolds to be moved in rumoured cabinet shuffle
A cabinet reshuffle could come as soon as Sunday, moving Attorney-General Christian Porter and Defence Minister Linda Reynolds out of their portfolios.
It would be the second reshuffle in three months, with Scott Morrison fuelling speculation during Question Time today, when he indicated he wasn't ruling out scaling back Mr Porter's duties.

It's thought Peter Dutton could be moved to the Defence portfolio, with Stuart Robert possibly shifted into Home Affairs.
While Mr Porter's duties could be switched with Employment Minister, Michaelia Cash, who is acting Attorney-General.
Christian Porter is expected to return to work on Monday, after taking mental health leave, following allegations of historical sexual assault.
