Opposition Leader Peter Dutton'sBrisbane electorate office has been targeted by vandals overnight, as the Dickson MP visits constituents on the campaign trail in western Sydney.
The words 'maggot' and 'scum' written in black paint were plastered across the outside of his Arana Hills office, north-west of Brisbane.
Queensland Police said it was investigating the willful damage and urged witnesses to contact police.

As of this afternoon, the graffiti had mostly been removed.
Peter Dutton's office has been contacted for comment.
The opposition leader spent the afternoon meeting with voters in Sydney's multicultural outer-west, where he is hoping to take several seats from Labor.
Dutton spoke with locals at the Sikh Games, a sporting and cultural event that attracts thousands.
Earlier today he joined a Good Friday service with the Maronite Christian community in south-western Sydney.

New South Wales
Sydney residents are experiencing a sunny top of 23 degrees today.
They can expect sunny conditions tomorrow with a chance of light winds and a maximum temperature of 25 degrees.
Conditions on Easter Sunday will be similar, with a maximum temperature forecast of 29 degrees.
The city could be in for showers on Monday, with up to 10mm of rain possible, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

Australian Capital Territory
Similar weather is occurring in Canberra.
Today is a sunny top of 23 degrees, while tomorrow will be a warm with temperatures up to 27 degrees and light winds.
There is a medium chance of showers on Easter Sunday, most likely during the evening.
Canberra residents can expect a partly cloudy day on Monday with a high chance of showers.

Queensland
Starting off with a sunny top of 27 degrees today, Brisbane is set to see sunny conditions over the long weekend.
Tomorrow will be sunny with tops of 29 degrees with a small chance of rain. There's a small chance of clouds on Saturday afternoon, but no rain is forecast.
Temperatures will remain high on Sunday and Monday, with a slight chance of showers on Monday afternoon.
Victoria
Melbourne residents are experiencing a warm and sunny top of 29 degrees today.
They can expect a partly cloudy day tomorrow with temperatures up to 28 degrees and a sprinkle of rain during the evening.
There is a high chance of rain on Sunday and temperatures up to 25 degrees.
Temperatures will drop to 20 degrees on Easter Monday but showers are expected to continue.

South Australia
It's partly cloudy and a top of 26 in Adelaide today.
Wet weather is expected tomorrow afternoon and into the evening with the chance of a thunderstorm.
A partly cloudy day is expected on Sunday with a very high chance of showers and maximum temperatures of 19 degrees.
Monday will be partly cloudy with a high chance of showers.
Tasmania
Hobart will also experience wet weather over the long weekend.
There is a high chance of showers tomorrow, most likely in the evening.
This will continue into Sunday with up to 6mm expected in the morning.
On Monday the weather will be partly cloudy with a medium chance of showers and light rain in the evening.

Darwin will see a weekend of rain with the chance of thunderstorms.
Tomorrow temperatures will reach up to 33 degrees with the chance of a thunderstorm from the late morning.

The city is in for a partly cloudy day with a chance of showers on Monday.
Western Australia
Perth residents can expect a long weekend with sunny and warm weather, and a top of 22 degrees today and tomorrow.
Sunny conditions will continue on Sunday and Monday with a slight chance of showers.
