Firefighters have contained one of the first bushfires of the season in Sydney's west.
The fire broke out alongside Knox Road in Doonside late this afternoon.
RFS crews conducted a backburn to contain the three-hectare blaze.
Two other bushfires in the area had already been contained.
Motorists are advised to take extra care with extensive traffic delays at the intersection of Knox and Richmond Roads.
