Five COVID-19 deaths have been reported in the Federation this past week by government health officials. They were all unvaccinated elderly people with pre-existing conditions.

To date the Federation has recorded 33 deaths from the Pandemic. But the Omicron variant has accelerated the infection rate here. There were 23 active cases on Dec. 21, 2021, but this grew to 1,316 by Jan. 14, 2022.

Federation health officials keep encouraging all citizens to get vaccinated as the best way to avoid serious illness.
