Queensland men charged with attempted murder over alleged shooting

Two Queensland men have been charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing several shots into a vehicle in Brisbane.

The men are alleged to have fired up to six rounds from their car at two passengers inside another vehicle in the suburb of Zillmere.

Nobody was injured in the shooting, which happened around 5pm, on December 28 last year.

Detectives from North Brisbane located one of the men in a Deagon home, arresting the 31-year-old.

A second man was located by police outside a Sandgate cafe.

Police said officers located drugs during the 45-year-old's arrest.

Both men have been hit with several charges including attempted murder and possessing firearms and drug utensils.

The men appeared in Brisbane Magistrates court today.
