Day denied embezzling money from his client and his lawyers argued the police case was flawed and that officers had been seduced by Sebastian's high profile.

Today the jury found Day guilty of 34 charges and not guilty of 13, after a week of deliberations.

The trial went for seven weeks after facing delays including when the judge presiding over the case, Peter Zahra, died.
