Young boy fighting for life after being pulled from Victorian lake

A young boy has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after being found unresponsive in a lake in regional Victoria.

The three-year-old was found in Lake Neangar off Napier Street in Eaglehawk, in central Victoria, about 11.50am.

A member of the public gave the boy CPR until paramedics arrived on scene, according to Victoria Police.

The boy was then flown to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
