Man allegedly stabbed outside Melbourne Centrelink

A man has allegedly been stabbed outside a Centrelink office in Melbourne.

A 37-year-old man was reportedly knifed by another customer outside the building in Sunshine this afternoon.

The man has been taken to hospital.

This is the second stabbing to occur in a Services Australia office in this suburb in a month.

The Union has described the incidents as "distressing" for staff and customers and is urging for an immediate safety review of all Centrelink branches.
