Death of man in Perth home being treated as suspicious

Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead inside his home in Perth's north-east.

The grim discovery was made by a person known to the man who visited the Diana Crescent address in Lockridge about 3.45pm yesterday.

WA Police Inspector Geoff DeSanges said police were treating the death as suspicious.

DeSanges said investigations would continue.

"There are circumstances that are evident at the crime scene that give us rise to suspect there was third-party involvement," he said.

"This does not appear to be a random incident, so we don't believe there's any ongoing risk to the community.

"However, we're asking anyone to come forward who may know something about it."
