A man has been rescued from a sinking boat in a Queensland bay.
The man, 61, was found by Hervey Bay Water Police clinging to a small boat that had overturned and submerged in waters off Tin Can Bay yesterday afternoon.
Reports of a sinking vessel reached police just before 4pm.

Police officers and a Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol Officer pulled the man from the water and transferred him to the Snapper Creek Boat Ramp.
He was treated for hypothermia and was taken to Gympie Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
