Two people have died and two others have been hospitalised after a three-vehicle crash in a major Brisbane tunnel.
The crash occurred in the northbound Legacy Way tunnel at Mount Coot-tha about 3.11pm, causing long delays during peak hour.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed two people died at the scene.

The spokesperson said a woman was in a critical condition with chest injuries and had been transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Another patient has been transported to the same hospital in a stable condition with head injuries.
"The northbound tunnel remains closed and is expected to remain so for some time," Queensland Police said in a statement.

The eastbound lanes of the tunnel are also closed.
QLD Traffic warned drivers planning to use the tunnel in either direction should expect "long delays" or find an alternative route.
