Jamaican Constitutional Change Referendum Coming Next Year–Could Be Knock Out Blow For Monarchy.

Jamaica’s Minister of Legal and Constitutional Affairs, Marlene Malahoo Forte, announced that the review of the Bill to amend Jamaica’s Constitution is almost complete.

She said that Parliament is scheduled to vote on the bill next week before the Christmas break, starting a process that could lead to a public referendum and the abolition of the monarchy.

Police in New York are using facial recognition technology and a discarded mobile phone to try to  track down the hooded and masked person who shot and killed a healthcare executive.

Brian Thompson, the 50-year-old CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was fatally shot on Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

USA Deports 70 Haitians On Flight To Cap Haitien.

Despite the growing insecurity in Haiti caused by gang activities, U.S. Immigration deported 70 Haitian citizens on a flight that landed in Cap-Haitien in the north of Haiti yesterday.

These Haitian migrants arrived back on the island in a environment where everything is at a standstill due to gang violence, which has forced planes to avoid flying into the airport in the capital city of  Port-au-Prince.
