But how do health outcomes in the English-speaking Caribbean compare to those in the United States?

There are both similarities and differences, influenced by factors such as socioeconomic status, healthcare access, and the prevalence of chronic diseases.

Chronic Diseases: Both populations experience high rates of chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. In the Caribbean, hypertension prevalence among individuals aged 25 and older ranges from 41% to 47%, posing a significant public health challenge.
