Cult cookie shop to open in Australia after saga over unrelated ‘pop-up’
A viral cookie shop has confirmed it will be opening in Australia after a saga saw fans of the company import the tasty treats and sell them at a controversial Bondi "pop-up" shop.
Crumbl has now said it will "accelerate" plans to bring the creations, which it has collaborated on with stars including Kylie Jenner, to the nation.
"Crumbl has been inspired to accelerate plans to provide all dessert-loving Aussies, with a true Crumbl experience," it said in a statement.

The company said it'll share social media updates on where and when it will open.
Last month, hundreds of cookie fans lined up in Bondi to buy Crumbl cookies, with a pop-up shop promoted on Instagram and TikTok.
But it later emerged it was not official, with the people behind it confirming they bought the goods in Hawaii and brought them back to Australia to sell.
They said they were just "fans" of the brand, though some shoppers said they were duped.
The cookies usually cost around $6, but were being sold for $17.50 each.

The company, which is a franchise, was founded in 2017 in Logan, Utah, by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley.
It has 1000 shops in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
