Bunnings to host pop-up vaccine clinics across Queensland
Almost two dozen Bunnings stores across Queensland will begin offering COVID-19 vaccines as the state government rushes to increase the number of residents who have received the jab.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced that from this Saturday, 23 Bunnings stores will host pop-up vaccination clinics that will allow customers to walk in and receive a dose.
A full list of the participating stores can be found below.

"Pop-up vaccination clinics are coming to Bunnings. From this Saturday, you can get a Bunnings sausage and vaccine dose at several sites across Queensland," Ms Palaszczuk wrote on Twitter.
Bunnings Managing Director Mike Schneider said the retailer was proud to help with the rollout.
"We're really pleased to be helping Queensland Health with the rollout of community vaccinations across South East Queensland by hosting pop-up vaccination clinics in around 30 of our store carparks. We hope it makes accessing vaccinations as easy and convenient as picking up an item for a weekend DIY project," Mr Schneider said.
"We've always tried to play an active role supporting the local communities where we operate, so providing space to QLD Health to accelerate the vaccination rollout just makes sense.
"Like everyone, we can't wait to see the whole community protected so we can all get back to doing the things we love."

The clinics will be run completely by Queensland Health and will be based in the carparks of Bunnings stores.
The decision to use Bunnings as a vaccine destination is one of a number of strategies used by the Queensland Government to boost the state's vaccination rate.
Currently just over 70 per cent of eligible Queenslanders have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, with 52.7 per cent now fully vaccinated.

In terms of full vaccination, Queensland is lagging behind NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, the Northern Territory, South Australia and the ACT.
Despite the delay in its vaccination rate, Queensland continues to record no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19.
The state is currently managing 33 active cases of the virus, the majority of which have been acquired overseas.
