NRL player TC Robati has been stood down from the Broncos after being charged over a serious alleged incident at a Brisbane venue.
Robati, 21, was charged by police on Christmas Eve after the alleged incident took place on December 21, during the team's Christmas leave period.
The allegation involving the second-rower has been reported to the NRL Integrity Unit by the club.

Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy said the club had accepted Robati's position in standing down from all club activities.
"There is now a legal process in place and that needs to be respected and adhered to," Donaghy said.
"The Board and I will review the matter further following TC's court appearance in January."
